The CEU Library team would like to invite all students, faculty and staff to come in and check out the most recent additions to our already great DVD collection. The library has just made available several new, interesting and educational DVDs from PBS and A&E corporations. Several of these movies have already been broadcast on television. For students, this is a great opportunity to expand their research materials to include, in addition to books, journals and scholarly websites, information for research projects. For faculty and staff, this is a chance to learn more about world history, world art and world societies & economies.
Here is a complete listing of the recently acquired DVDs:
From A&E: The Library of Alexandria, Christianity I and II, Julius Caesar: Master of the Roman World, Magellan’s Lost Fleet, The Haunted History of Halloween, The Impressionists, Titanic: the complete story, Egypt: Land of the Gods, Flying Pyramids: Soaring Stones, The Coliseum, and Mystical Monuments of Ancient Greece, The Greek Gods, The Medieval Soldier, Secrets of Delphi, Treasure! The Search for the Atocha, Riddle of the Zodiac, Biblical Disasters, and The Search for Noah’s Ark.
From PBS: Is Wal-Mart Good for America, and Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson.
