Photography finalist

A College of Eastern Utah photography student placed as a finalist in Photographer’s Forum magazine’s 26th annual student photography competition, which was sponsored by Nikon, USA.
 Diana Root’s black and white photo of old post office boxes was selected from a field of over 28,000 entries from student photographers. Selected photographs of all the winners, honorable mentions and finalists will be featured in the Best of College Photography Annual 2006. Images winning first through fourth place will be published in the May/Summer 2006 issue of Photographer’s Forum magazine.

 Root’s instructor, Troy Hunt, said about her photo, “We are often our own worst critics.   Diana didn’t like the photo.   She thought it was too mundane.   Since the post office boxes are in her mother’s house, it was routine to her.   To the rest of us, it was a beautiful piece of artwork.   I am proud of her talent and skills and that she is bringing prestige to CEU’s programs.”

    so how long do u go 2 school for photography…cuz this is something i’d love doing for my future IT’S AN EXCITING thing i want to do………
