Student Art Show winners
Eight students were awarded cash prizes at the annual student art show in the College of Eastern Utah’s Gallery East located in the old SAC Building.
Best of Show and a $150 check went to Spanky Harris for her ceramic large horse hair pot, first place and a $125 check went to Candace Reid for her photo called “The Process”, second place and a $100 check went to Nate Bates for his print titled “Silence,” and third place and a $75 check went to Alexis Yelonek for her graphic design titled “Untitled Magazine.”

Honorable mention winners and a $50 check was awarded to Jennifer Cawley for her sculpture titled “Melted Ice Cream” and Ryan Nakai’s airbrush titled “Performance Anxiety.”
The two CEU Bookstore awards worth $25 went to Miriah Rawlins for her sculpture titled “Quest For a Straight Line,” and Chelsea Prettyman for her ceramic pit fired pot.
