Awards ceremony honors top students

Twenty-two students will be honored on Friday, May 6, at USU Eastern’s Awards Ceremony held at 7 p.m. in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center Multipurpose Room. Besides the outstanding students honored, all students who are graduating with a 3.5 or better GPA will receive gold honor cords.

The outstanding anthropology student is Dorian Scoville, from Price, Utah; accounting, Amber Barlow from Saratoga Springs, Utah; art, Shelby Crockett from Cedar City, Utah; automotive, Brandon Erwin from Price, Utah; business student, Jenafer Henrie, from Price, Utah; business computer information systems, Jaylene Falke, from Canada; biology, Jennifer Chiara, from Seattle, Wash.; and the Boni Nichols Stick-To-It award, Gayla Jensen, Castle Dale, Utah.
Other winners include chemistry, Lance Deeter, from Helper, Utah; communications, Mae Goss, from Lehi , Utah, and Kelli-Burke Gobossi, from Wellington, Utah; cosmetology, Deanne Jenson, Elmo, Utah; criminal justice, Janet Lynn Carver, from Syracuse, Utah; education, Cindy Garcia, from Sunnyside, Utah; engineering, Josh Erramouspe, Helper, Utah; engineering, drafting and design technology, Elizabeth Prettyman, Price, Utah; economics, Justin Stout, from Price, Utah; English, Angel Paletta, from Price, Utah; math, Megan Davis, from Ferron, Utah; music, Farrah Nelson, from Price, Utah; nursing LPN, Stephanie Bunderson; and psychology, Angel Paletta, from Price, Utah.
