Before I graduated high school, I wasn’t planning to stay in Price for college. Life happens though and plans change. I thought my full-two years at this college would be full of regrets, but I was wrong. These two years at USU-Eastern have taught me valuable lessons. I have learned that it is better to try and fail, than to not have tried at all; I have established relationships that will never die; I have figured out what I want to do with my life and what I should expect from others in the future.

I thought my full-two years at this college would be full of regrets, but I was wrong. These two years at USU-Eastern have taught me valuable lessons. I have learned that it is better to try and fail, than to not have tried at all; I have established relationships that will never die; I have figured out what I want to do with my life and what I should expect from others in the future.
All of the professors at USU-Eastern have significantly impacted my life and I feel the need to leave behind a great thanks to a few, specifically. But first I need to recognize my closest friends: TJ, Mae, Sheraya, Jenna, Henry, Tadd, Sammie, Bethany, Markie, Laci, Michelle, Shandalin and Jenifer. You guys have gotten me through this last semester. I couldn’t ask for better friends.
Pam Cha, you’ve been like a mother to me. I truly appreciate all of your help, getting me through these past two years, helping me figure out where I want to go and what I want to do with my life.
Troy Hunt, thank you for putting up with me and my slow ways of learning. I am grateful for your infinite patience.
Curt Icard, you are nothing short of brilliant. Any time I hear a fellow classmate asking about what English class to take, I recommend yours.
Russ Wilson, if I am sad to graduate and move, it will be because I will no longer have you as a voice instructor. I have learned so much this year and hope to carry this knowledge with me for the rest of my life. Thank you so much.

Dr. Corey Ewan, you are undoubtedly the funniest teacher in this school. I wish I had the opportunity to take more classes from you.
John Weber, thank you for always being available whenever I’ve needed help. I really appreciate you staying after class until I get the concept we’re studying in class. You’ve been a great instructor.
Susan Polster, where do I begin? When I registered for my first semester, I didn’t originally enroll in newspaper production. At the time, acting was more appealing as an elective. I can’t say what changed my mind, but I switched classes and I can’t be happier with that decision. You have showed me what career I truly want to pursue. I am where I am today because of your help and guidance. You have ultimately changed my life for the better. I am so glad I have had the opportunity to study with you as my advisor. I hope you will someday see my name on the front page of a newspaper, above the fold line (not including The Eagle, of course).
Lastly, Todd Olsen. If I could leave anything behind, it would be an extra computer and/or telephone in your office. Then, you’d finally be able to reply to staff writers and tell them whether or not you have time for an interview.
