Utah State University Eastern traveled to their Region 18 Volleyball tournament in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Nov. 3-5 where they were defeated by Snow College in the first round.
Co-head coach Chelsey Warburton commented, “We had only two days to practice, and then travel. We just didn’t play well.”
The Lady Eagles lost in three games to Snow College. “We couldn’t mesh well, Snow was playing good at the end of the year, and they pulled out the win,” said Warburton. The score were; 25-18, 25-20, 25-15.

“There were moments when we played well, but not consistently enough to pull out a win,” added Warburton A few good things went the Eagles way: Miranda Parkinson made Second Team SWAC All-Conference, outside hitter; also Joy Malone made Honorable Mention SWAC Conference, middle hitter. The team finished the season 8-15 overall and 3-7 in conference play.
