Dr. Michelle Fleck took a group of 14 Physical Geology students to Arches National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park on Saturday, Nov. 1. The day was spent hiking six miles of the trails at Arches, including a visit to the spectacular Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch. The group was accompanied by Dr. Fleck’s husband, Kenneth, who is also a geologist and helped instruct the field trip.
Chemistry professor Dr. John Weber and his family also participated in the tour of the parks.
