Trump’s polititcs inspire hate

America is the land of opportunity and promise, a country where literality anyone can succeed and achieve their dreams. This is true even for Republican billionaire and 2016 presidential candidate Donald J. Trump.
Throughout his campaign, Trump has done and said things far outside the realm of political correctness and sensibility. He has gone out of his way to attack those who don’t agree with his views.
It is one thing to speak your mind about something, but it is another to infuse hate among people. Trump attacked Muslims, immigrants, Latinos, Asians, women and the homeless, among other groups.
Trump has proven himself to be racist and sadly, it isn’t letting up. Trump has said some damaging statements including this one, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and not lose any voters, okay. It’s like incredible.”
Trump is clearly over his head in his own egotism, and the really sad part is that many Americans support him. According to a new poll done by CNN, four in ten Republicans would support Trump as president.
This is troubling considering some of the racist statements made by the blonde billionaire including, “The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.”
Or this, “I will build a great wall and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.” And finally this, “Laziness is a trait in the blacks… Black guys counting my money! I hate it.”
Many Democrats and Republicans are worried that Trump will cause problems for America. Some are already stating that the hate speeches delivered by Trump added to terrorists groups like ISIS and Al-Qaida which use Trump’s hateful words to recruit new members into their ranks.
This also causes some other problems, including the fact that Trump is alienating the Syrian refugees trying to seek refuge from ISIS, poverty, and the destruction of their homes to try to come to America and find new lives and opportunities.
It is simply appalling to see the level of hate that has risen in the U.S. due to Trump, and many fear that this hate will cross borders into other nations. This fear has prompted the British Parliament to consider banning Trump from the United Kingdom.
Like the British, Democratic presidential hopeful and main rival to Trump, Sen. Bernie Sanders says Trump is, “an embarrassment for our country,” and is using racism to attract votes.
Despite all things however, Trump still stands in his resolve to win the GOP nomination and become president of the United States.
It is way too dangerous to allow such a thing to happen, and if it does, America would take a step backwards in human and civil rights and plunge itself into an era of hate.
It has always been the will of the American people to do what it is right, and the mere fact that we would allow such a destructive man to have a chance of leading us is greatly depressing.
We must not allow Trump to gain more power and influence as it would be bad for all of us. We the people of the United States vowed to create a more perfect union not an empire of hate. Please do not allow this man to take office.
This November, when it is time to choose our next leader, do not give into hate, division and aggression. Vote for peace, unity and compassion.
Vote for someone who instills these words that make America what it truly is—
“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”
