The end is near. The semester is coming to a close for USU Eastern students and with the end of the semester comes finals. The word is enough to spread terror through the student body. That’s why Cheyenne Weber and D’Layna Hickman from the SUN Center teamed together to spread positivity throughout the “Sea of Students.”
The two walked around campus and had students write inspiring messages on sea creatures. The quotes are by students for students, and the best part is they are completely anonymous. Once they had 40 fish with quotes, they went to the next stage. They hung them up in the student center, the library, the Central Instructional Building, the Reeves, and the McDonald Career Building.
Hickman says, “We wanted to make sure people could see them, especially with the stress we are feeling right now. Some areas were more needed than others, so we even put up two by the testing center.”
Watch out for the fish and take time to read them, hopefully they can brighten up anyone’s day. If you want to see more or be involved with something like this, stop by the SUN Center located in upstairs in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center.
