Five teams earn NJCAA All-Academic Awards

Multiple Utah State Eastern athletic teams earned NJCAA Academic Team Awards with 29-student athletes earning NJCAA All-Academic Awards for their work in 2017-18.

The NJCAA announced in June that five teams from USU Eastern earned Academic Team Awards for the 2017-2018 school year.

The following teams earned honorable mention academic team awards: men’s basketball, 3.2 overall GPA; women’s basketball, 3.51 GPA; women’s soccer, 3.08 GPA; softball, 3.12 GPA; and
volleyball, 3.52 GPA.
