Connect with 2-1-1 to get help with community resources

Utah’s get connected, get answers, is as simple as dialing 2-1-1 or downloading the 2-1-1 app. In every county, the easy-to-remember numbers provide people with ways to get help and give help such as housing and utility assistance, food resources, legal aid and more.

Callers can connect to any health and human resources they need, as well as find meaningful volunteer opportunities. This can be especially helpful to Utah State University Eastern students who may not know what to do, who to call or even what to ask. Even Google might not be sufficient for Eastern students.

Dialing the three-digit number is free, confidential and for everyone. It is the number to call to give and get help, plus can be an invaluable resource in the aftermath of a disaster. It is a simple way to find assistance you need from organizations throughout Utah.

The Carbon County general resource list on 2-1-1 includes information on 24-hour emergencies; adult and child abuse/neglect; child/youth/family services; clothing/furniture/personal items; domestic violence; employment/job training; financial counseling; food assistance program; government services; health care/hospitals/clinics; and housing/utilities.

The list includes law enforcement and emergency services; legal information; libraries; mental health and counseling; people with disabilities; pregnancy; rape/sexual assault; senior citizens; sexually transmitted diseases/AIDS info; substance abuse; support groups; volunteers; welfare and financial services.
