Vocal Point is coming to USU Eastern

The first 100 Utah State Eastern University students get in free. They must sign up at the student center on January 20 or January 25. The show begins at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30. The group will be in the lobby after the concert for a meet and greet.
The concert will open with Miss Utah Outstanding Teen, Charlee Sorensen of Aurora, who won the top vocal talent award at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2022 in Orlando, Fla. The concert will be hosted by Miss Utah Sasha Sloan of North Salt Lake and Miss Carbon County Peyton Anderson.
Vocal Point often sells out. It has won three Pearl Awards from the Faith-centered Music Association, and ten years ago competed on NBC’s reality series “The Sing Off.”
It has performed the national anthem at Utah Jazz games. It has more than 100 million views on their YouTube channel to become the most-watched college a capella group in the world, according to the channel. It has 686,000 subscribers.
The group performs with no instrumental accompaniment.
