Eastern student ambassadors

16 students working together to recruit students.

The ambassador program at Utah State University Eastern is one like no other. It is a tight knit group of 16 students working together to recruit students. Our weekly duties include doing one office and one-tour time where we give tours to prospective students as well as a weekly meeting. We also do high school visits to schools all around Utah. As well as going to the high schools, we host high school students on campus and put on amazing events in hopes of getting students here.

My name is Samantha Hooper, I am a third-year student and a third year member on the ambassador team. I am also the captain of the 2022-2023 ambassador team. I am from West Jordan, Utah and I attended Copper Hills High School. I chose Utah State University Eastern because of the small campus feel and the amazing opportunities USUE offers.

My favorite thing about ambassadors is the fact that I came to college with a family away from home and the people on the team never fail to make me feel loved.
