Each Spring Semester photography students at USU Eastern have an assignment called Art In Architecture. The Central Instructional Building, which has won several prestigious architectural awards, provides the subject matter for this assignment. “The lines, angles, light and textural elements of the interior of the CIB provide a great way to study composition” said photography instructor Jason Huntzinger. An exhibition of the photographs from this assignment are on display outside of Gallery East in the CIB through February. Students interested in photography can take Art 1050 Fall Semester or Art 2810 Spring Semester. Neither course requires a prerequisite.
