As the NFL season has already reached week three, the Broncos sit in the middle of the pack at 1-1. After going undefeated in the preseason, the team faced a rough week one in Denver, particularly for Bo Nix and the offense. The defense held strong to break the week one losing streak since 2016. Week two was a different story for Nix as he threw three touchdown passes in the first half with only one interception.

The Broncos’ defense faced a tougher challenge in Indianapolis, as the Colts’ offense scored on nearly every possession and managed only one punt. The Colts would later win on a game-winning 45-yard field goal attempt. Despite the disappointing ending to the Colts game, Broncos fans have been excited with Bo Nix and the Broncos’ new additions in free agency. Most mentioned free agents that Denver claimed and signed are Dre Greenlaw from San Francisco and Talanoa Hufanga, also from the 49ers. However, Dre Greenlaw, who suffered a gruesome injury in Super Bowl 58, has battled other injuries, most notably a thigh injury that ended with him being placed on IR and hasn’t played in the regular season. Hufanga has played in the first two games and has had an impact that has helped the Denver defense.

With all that the Broncos sit at 1-1 heading to SoFi Stadium to face their rivals in the Los Angeles Chargers who are coming off a two straight game winning streak. The game will be featured on CBS at 2:05 p.m. MT. The Chargers beat the Broncos in LA last year on Thursday night in a battle. The Broncos will try to rebound in a rematch at SoFI.

The Denver Broncos are in the AFC west with the Chargers, Raiders, and Chiefs. The Las Vegas Raiders sit tied at 1-1 with the Broncos. While the Kansas City Chiefs for the first time since 2015 are clear at the bottom of the division. You still don’t want to sleep on the defending AFC champions. Kansas City came off to tough games one against the Chargers in Brazil and the other against a rematch of last season’s Super Bowl teams. Still early in the new NFL season, but a tight race in the AFC west makes for an exciting time for many NFL fans.
