What is fall like in Logan?

The most beautiful time of year to be an Aggie, the fall! Fall in Logan, Utah, is like no other. Just under two hours north of Salt Lake City is a hidden gem full of beauty and wonder. Here is an inside scoop on some of the best places to be in Logan this fall:
1. You can never go wrong with a walk around Old Main! The crisp fall air around sunset is one of the best times to take a stroll around the University’s most iconic building. My personal favorite is when I have a warm drink in hand, watching the sun dip behind the lit-up “A.”
2. We have the iconic main and center street. Throughout the season, the city hosts a series of events that help bring the fall feeling to life. Those events include the farmers’ market, the Giant Pumpkin Festival, and festive movies being shown at the historic theater.

3. Little Bear Bottoms Pumpkin Patch and the North Logan pumpkin walk are long-standing traditions that folks flock to from all over. The patch allows you to pick your own pumpkin, which is grown right there locally. The patch also offers a spooky train ride and a haunted river trail walk, adding to the haunted and creepy aspects of the fall season. The North Logan Pumpkin Walk invites artists and groups from all over Cache Valley to create scenes featuring pumpkins as the star of the show. These scenes feature pumpkins being portrayed as well-known characters, such as Spider-Man, characters from The Wizard of Oz, and Olympians. A fun, free activity to walk through and see a creative take on pumpkins.

4. We’ll conclude with the incredible fall color found in any of the nearby canyons. The drive up Logan, Green, or Sardine Canyon is absolutely breathtaking to witness, with the leaves and colors changing with the seasons. There is truly nothing like it.

In closing, Logan is a one-stop shop for all the fall festivities. Fun activities for all, beautiful landscapes, and a beautiful campus. What more could someone want? Open a spot on the calendar for a trip to Logan this fall.
