I played quite a few games as I was growing up, but only one stuck with me the most as I grew older. That game would be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I would spend hours past my bedtime playing it on my 3DS. It captured my heart and will remain timeless in my mind.

Ocarina of Time was released in the US on Nov. 23, 1998. It was the first game in the Legend of Zelda franchise to display 3D graphics. The game features well-thought-out gameplay and an easy-to-follow storyline, keeping you enthralled throughout the tale.

Ocarina of Time leads you through many different landscapes in which you need to save and restore six kingdoms, to slowly weaken the evil power corroding the land of Hyrule. These kingdoms are all so unique and bring life with diversity and variety in the game. Eventually, after freeing the six sages from those kingdoms, you are led to defeat the infamous Gerudo King of Thieves, Gandorf, who wrought havoc over the kingdoms in an attempt to conquer Hyrule.

Along with Ocarina of Time, the Zelda franchise is absolutely amazing, and every game has its own unique, addictive story and a great playthrough. I also 100% recommend The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds!

Overall, I have completed Ocarina of Time about 3 times through, and it remains my favorite. It never fails to be just as good, or even better than the first time, on every replay. I recommend this game for everyone who loves a great adventure, plot, and story.
