Bridal Fair in JLSC

Planning a wedding and would like to contribute to a good cause, the CEU Cosmetology Department is presenting the 2006 Springfest/Bridal Fair Extravaganza on Jan. 20-21.
A fair will be a community wide event that raises money for CEU Cosmetology students while spotlighting local businesses’ products, services for weddings and other special events.
While it has been formerly known as the Wedding and Bridal Fair, the show this year, will include the businesses that are associated with proms, Valentines Day, graduation and Easter.
The planned events include a bridal and prom fashion show, display booths showcasing local businesses’ products and services.
It will be everything from gowns, accessories, jewelry, gifts, catering and food services.
There will also be photography studios, florists, beauty and spa services, scrap booking and cooking businesses that will be represented.
Admission price for the show is $4.00 for adults, $2.00 with student I.D., children free, and includes entrance in drawings for door prizes donated by the participating businesses.
All profits from the businesses’ booth rentals and public admission fees will benefit the CEU Cosmetology Department Scholarship fund.
For additional information, please contact the Cosmetology Department at CEU. Show hours are 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 20th with the fashion show at 5:30 p.m.; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 21st with the fashion show at a.m.
The Springfest and Bridal Show takes place in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Ballroom at CEU.
