The staff at the library would like to welcome new and returning students to the College of Eastern Utah campus as well as new and returning faculty and staff. The College of Eastern Utah Library is the large white building located at the center of campus. In addition to being at the center of the campus physically, the library hopes that the materials and services offered at the library will play a central role in assisting student academic success.
To help make this success possible, the library has a comprehensive collection of educational, scholarly and popular materials in several formats for students, faculty, staff and community patrons to access and enjoy.
The library offers the more traditional types of information such as books, newspapers and magazines in hardcopy. In addition we have access to several authoritative electronic resources. Students are able to check out electronic books through NetLibrary e-books which are available 24/7 from the library’s homepage at library.ceu.edu. Students may also freely access full-text copies of articles from the various subscription databases which specialize in both scholarly and popular types of articles in all subjects and disciplines.
The library has several popular and academic DVDs, videos, and CDs which are available for checkout without a fee. The library is equipped with five-study rooms which may be checked out for group or individual study sessions. The library has a computer lab, two photocopy machines, one fax machine and access to the Internet with a library card for library users or wireless access for individuals with their own laptop.
The library is a great place to study. As a staff, we are dedicated to keeping the library quiet and pleasant and a center for learning. We invite you to come in and see for yourself. Library hours are Mon.-Thurs.: 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Fri.: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Sat. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sun.:
