NetLibrary electronic books available 24/7 for students

Staff in the College of Eastern Utah’s Library would like to take this time to remind students, faculty and staff that the library subscribes to over 5,000 electronic full-text academic books. This means that it is possible to access a book 24/7. The electronic book provider for CEU is NetLibrary. The link to NetLibrary can be found on the library homepage at library.ceu.edu. The link is located to the right of the eagle image on the CEU Library homepage.

Staff in the College of Eastern Utah’s Library would like to take this time to remind students, faculty and staff that the library subscribes to over 5,000 electronic full-text academic books. This means that it is possible to access a book 24/7. The electronic book provider for CEU is NetLibrary. The link to NetLibrary can be found on the library homepage at library.ceu.edu. The NetLibrary collection contains books on many different topics including mathematics, chemistry, psychology, child development, business, nursing and English. NetLibrary can be helpful to students if they are unable to get to the library to check out books due to busy work and school schedules. Also, NetLibrary electronic books can make it possible to access books when all the books in your area of interest have already been checked out or are otherwise not available.
Here is a listing of just some of the full-text academic books available from NetLibrary:
• Schaum’s Outline of Theory and Problems of College Mathematics: Algebra, Discrete Mathematics, Precalculus, Introduction to Calculus
• Improving Statistical Reasoning: Theoretical Models and Practical Implications,
• Schaum’s Outline of Theory and Problems of College Chemistry
• Modern Methods for Business Research
• Business Plans to Game Plans: A Practical System for Turning Strategies Into Action
• George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-four Bloom’s Notes
• Between Anthropology and Literature: Interdisciplinary Discourse
NetLibrary also allows keyword searches within a book, an embedded dictionary in the collection, a place to write notes and easy book browsing options as well as many other great features designed for the user to access and manipulate the book effectively and efficiently.
In order to access electronic books through NetLibrary the user needs to set up a NetLibrary account here on campus. By clicking on NetLibrary on the library homepage and following the promptings under the link Create New Account located in the upper right hand corner of NetLibrary’s homepage users are able to easily set up an account. It only takes a few moments and it is free. Users need to have a current e-mail address.
