Christensen said the center’s goal is to provice constant health care and to meet the needs of the students.
Planned Parenthood services will be availale as well as an ability to treat acute illness. Employees who will help Ms. Christensen include Shelle Allred and Doni VanBuren. Everyone in the local area as well as students and faculty are welcome to use the services provided. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are advised due to the response of patients.
No insurance is accepted but with a rate of $25 per visit, cost is not a huge problem. Lab tests and extra services are not included in the initial fee. If the center is not open and an emergency occurs, the emergency room at Castle view Hospital should be contacted.
