The February issue of “Tomorrow’s Technician” has a question on the cover. The cover asks, Do you attend the school of the year?
The article lists the top automotive programs in the nation, determined by the magazine. Programs located in the Northwest region which includes eight states are ranked as follows.
1. Clover Park Technical College- Washington. They offer Automotive programs in automotive collision repair, automotive technology, automotive restoration and customization and automotive upholstery and glass system repair.

2. College of Eastern Utah- Price Utah. engine repair, drivetrain, brakes, suspension and steering, electrical/electric systems, engine performance, and engine machine, NATEF master certification
3. NCT Tech Center- Wenatchee Washington. Only two full time instructors are listed.
4. Renton Technical College- Renton Washington. They offer automotive programs in automotive repair and refinish, automotive technology, automotive service technician and Ford ASSET.
5. Western Wyoming Community College- Rock Springs Wyoming. engine repair, drivetrain, brakes, suspension and steering, electrical/electric systems, engine performance, and engine machine
