Download free ring tones at phonezoo
Finding free music isn’t always easy, but for the same price as a standard text message, you can find music by starting an account with a new website called Phonezoo.
Launched over a year ago as a top 5,000 site, Phonezoo reaches 863 thousand Americans monthly reported by quantcast.com. Although the site attracts more females, teen groups, it is a fast growing company.
The site started as a voice recorder, to a “build your own” ring tone tool. Now it features tools that range from making your own music from scratch to customizing ring tones from real songs.

All you need is an account and a computer full of music, and you can make, save and send ring tones to you cell phone. What you do is upload your music from a file to your Phonezoo account and follow the instructions to make your own ring tone.
Once you have uploaded your song onto the website, you can pick any part of the song you like, up to 30 seconds, customize it to fade in or out and send it directly to your cell phone from there. Best of all, you truly make the music your own.
On January 30, games were finally introduced to this music-mania website. These games include puzzles, action games, casino games and arcade games. By sending a text to your cell phone, you are able to download games, pictures and music. Games have unfortunately not been able to download on Verizon and Alltel subscribers.
“I don’t have a lot of money to buy ring tones from my network, but have a lot of music on my computer and Phonezoo has made it easy for me to get cool, new music on my phone,” said Cj Martinez, a Price local.
Although many websites say their music is free, I cannot help but wonder how free it is. It is free to make an account and upload music on Phonezoo, but when it is sent to cell phones people are charged a standard text message.
“Nothing is free in life and I would rather pay for a full song than have 30 seconds of one,” pointed out Daniel Black, a student at CEU.
There is always a way to have music on cell phones. Whether a person decides to make customized ring tones from websites like Phonezoo, or buy full songs from a network like Verizon, people find a way to listen to music.
The website might be doing well for now, but sooner or later it will crash like Rhapsody did. It is free now, but how long will it stay this way? Only time will tell. Phonezoo is just another music website.
