Shorter response time, quality maintenance

“Forty work orders were submitted through our work-order system with complaints about heating since winter started,” according to Alex Herzog, dean of students at the College of Eastern Utah.
Maintenance personnel at the College of Eastern Utah have been assessing and completing work orders over the holiday break.
“Over the break we changed out all the air filters and cleaned vents in all of AJ. We also serviced each individual heater / cooler in Burtenshaw. Sessions hall is having a water pump replaced and we have had no complaints from Tucker to date.”

Some of the more visible updates include, “Sessions got much needed new showers in the upstairs men’s bathrooms. We are addressing many issues with Burtenshaw bathrooms, but the most noticeable improvement is that it was painted over the break,” Herzog added.
“AJ has the most work orders submitted but it is also the most populated residence hall on campus.”
If students are experiencing any issues with the residence halls, you can submit work orders online at www.ceu.edu/WorkOrder.aspx. “We address non-emergency work orders within 24 hours,” Herzog said. “For emergencies during the work day call 613-5289. Outside of work hours call CEU Police dispatch at 637-0890.”
