Bailey Dee Thomas was born March 10, 1991, to Craig and Linda Thomas. He grew up in Montpelier, Idaho with four older brothers. Growing up, Thomas loved to play wiffle ball, participating in sports, and riding his bike. His favorite memory from childhood was when he was eight years old, he hit his first homerun. While growing up, Thomas worked as a park maintenance man, a lawn mower and at Bear Lake renting boats and jet skis.
Thomas graduated from Bear Lake High School in May 2009. During high school he participated in baseball, basketball, football and the ski club. When asked about home, Thomas misses his friends and his teachers and coaches from high school. He also misses his mom’s chicken casserole.
Thomas is an outfielder on the baseball team at CEU. He likes playing his position and wouldn’t trade it for another one. His favorite thing to do while here at college is to hang out with his friends and play racquetball.
Thomas is a fan of Jim Carey as an actor. His favorite movie is “The Dark Knight”, the second movie in the Batman series. Answering a hypothetical question, Thomas says that if he ever got a tattoo, it would be the similar to his brothers; stars the color of the brothers birthstones, on his side by his ribcage.
If given three wishes, Thomas would like to be financially secure, happily married with children, and own a sports car. His hero is his father, because he was always a good example and though reprimanding was scarce, he was always there for them. Thomas is planning on serving an LDS Mission soon, and would like to give a shout out to the “BL.” So, everyone head out to the baseball games this upcoming season and support Bailey Thomas and team!
