USU-CEU student origins
Students from Carbon (788), Emery (470), Salt Lake (196), Utah (88) and Davis (32) counties have the highest number of representatives attending USU-CEU in Price, according to the third week enrollment report released by the Utah State Board of Regents.
Arizona (231), Colorado (49), Nevada (16), Idaho (9) California (7), Wyoming (6) and New Mexico (5) account for the largest number of the 350 USU-CEU out-of-state students attending the Price campus.

Korea (27), Brazil (8) and Japan (4) represent the largest student enrollment at USU-CEU from foreign countries. Sixty-three students are from outside of the United States.
More women (1,514) attend USU-CEU than men (1,054). Seventy students did not list their gender.
The ethnic background of the student enrollment showed Native Americans having the most students enrolled with 497 followed by Hispanic 125, Asian 71, Blacks 25, Pacific Islanders 7.
Although most students are undecided in their major interest of study, those who declared a major indicated the most popular is business (146), followed by criminal justice (90), engineering and medical coding (55 each), licensed practical nursing (34), construction (33), welding (31), auto mechanics (23). All other majors had less than 20 students enrolled.
These figures represent the demographics of fall semester’s USU-CEU student enrollment.
Besides Carbon, Emery, Salt Lake, Utah and Davis counties, the next largest county’s enrollment is Grand (30), Juab (24), Duchesne (18), Box Elder (16), Sanpete (15), Weber (14), Rich (13), Tooele (11), Wasatch and Sevier (9), Millard (8), Beaver (7), Iron, Summit and Cache (5), Kane (4), Washington (3), Morgan (2), Piute and Garfield (1). All but two of Utah’s 29 counties are represented in fall semester’s enrollment.
Besides Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Idaho, California, Wyoming and New Mexico, other states represented in the college’s enrollment numbers include four from Illinois, Texas and Washington; three from West Virginia and Oregon; two from New York; and one each from Florida, Maine, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Tennessee, U.N., Virginia and Vermont.
Besides Korea, Brazil and Japan, the counties with the most enrollment attending USU-CEU include China, Philippines and Mexico (3), Russian Federation (2), Spain (2) Taiwan (2) and one each from Albania, Ghana, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Kuwait, Mongolia, Romania, Thailand, United Kingdom (Great Britain) and Vietnam.
The highest number of students, 637, registered for 12 credit hours, 463 registered for 13, 350 registered for 15 credits, and 315 registered for 14 credits. The highest amount of credit hours, 28, is being taken by two students with 15 students registering for one-credit hour.
