USU Eastern’s third annual Library Photo Contest
USU Eastern’s third annual Library Photo Contest starts Thursday, April 11, and continues through Tuesday, April 16, at noon.
According to Sherril Shaw, cataloging system librarian, students need to snap a photo showing the library personnel what they love about the USU Eastern Library, where they use the library, how they use it, and what they love about it. Students can bring their photo(s) to the library on a jump drive or CD and it will be entered in the annual contest.

The rules of the contest specify that participants and subjects must be 18 years of age or older and enrolled at USU Eastern plus have a valid USU ID. The contest is open to Price campus students only.
Photos must be submitted to the library personnel in jpeg format on either a disc or a jump drive, which will be returned. The photographer and all subjects must sign a photo release. The release must be handed in to the library at the time the photo is submitted. Both the photographer and any subjects must show a USU ID. Entries without valid ID will be disqualified.
Photographs must be in good taste and adhere to USU Eastern campus policies with a limit of three entries per student, Shaw said.
She says the library is offering a great prize package this year for the winner which includes four full-day passes to Lagoon. The submitted photos will be judged by USU Eastern Chancellor Joe Peterson with the winner announced on April 17.
Any questions about the contest should be directed to library personnel.
