Bonnie Jean Blackburn grew up in Centerville Utah and graduated from Viewmont High in 2013. She is the fifth of seven children and loves her family.
She came to USU Eastern because of the small size, affordable cost and she felt good about it.
Blackburn loves school and was able to earned her Associates of Science Degree as a freshman at USU Eastern, but chose to stay another year because of the opportunities and people here.
Blackburn serves as the USU Eastern Ambassador President, secretary of the LDS Institute Council and does layout for The Eagle newspaper.
She loves learning but is still trying to figure out what direction to take concerning a major.
Blackburn enjoys Country Swing dance, good literature and musicals. She survives on creativity and tries to live by the mantra of, “I can do hard things.”
