Baseball helps with books
USU Eastern baseball players and coaching staff came together to help the local Bookmobile move thousands of books from the old mobile library to a brand new one. Eastern’s coach Scott Madsen stressed to the media the importance of his teams comittment to do as much community service as possible, part of his coaching philosophy is, “we have to be good people first.” Because of their assistance the entire move of thousands of books took less than an hour and was rewarded with drinks and pizza donated by Wal-Mart, Little Caesers and Big Don’s Pizza.
