Eastern Student Art Show at Gallery East opens next week
It’s not too late to submit work to be shown in Utah State University Eastern’s annual juried Student Art Show opening April 10-28 at the Central Instructional Building’s Gallery East.
The exhibit is open to all USU Eastern students and all art forms. Both two- and three-dimensional works are accepted.
“Students don’t even have to be enrolled in art classes to participate,” says gallery director Noel Carmack. Winning submissions will be given cash equivalent awards. Entry forms are available at Gallery East.
A reception and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 28 from 6 – 8 p.m. Students, family, and public are welcome to attend. The gallery is free and open to the public during the academic year.
Gallery East’s Spring 2017 hours are: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
