“Railfan” photo exhibit and contest

The Western Mining & Railroad Museum, located in Helper, Utah, is accepting entries for “Railfan,”an exhibition of railroad photography. Preference will be given to photographs of Price Canyon and the Helper area. 

The exhibit runs from June 28 through Sept. 25.  Museum visitors can cast votes on photographs from the beginning of the exhibit until August 21. The winners of a Visitor’s Choice Contest will be announced during Helper Arts Festival weekend, Aug. 21, 2021. Entries will be juried by personnel at the Western Mining & Railroad Museum.

The exhibition will be printed and curated by the Western Mining & Railroad Museum.

Entry is a $25 donation, which includes a yearly supporting individual membership to the museum. Each entrant may submit up to three images. High resolution jpegs should be sent to [email protected] by May 31. Accepted entries will be notified by June 12. All accepted entrants will receive an archival print at the end of the exhibition.
