SWAC season coming down to the wire

Two weeks ago, the Eagles took a trip to Twin Falls, Idaho to take on the College of Southern Idaho.   Going into the weekend games, the Eagles were in sixth place in the region while Southern Idaho was in a battle at the top of the leader board with Snow, SLCC, and Dixie.
The game Friday night was never very close.   Southern Idaho jumped out to an early lead and took control of the game.   After that, they never looked back.  It was 40-25 at the half and the onslaught continued in the second half.   The final score was 93-67.

CEU men lose two, win two

Two weeks ago, the Eagles had a tough weekend when they traveled to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho to take on North Idaho College.   Going into the games, the Eagles were in sixth place in the conference at 8-8 while NIC was just one game ahead of the Eagles at 9-7.   With two wins, the Eagles could have put themselves back into the hunt for first place in the conference, but North Idaho needed the wins themselves to keep up with the competitive teams at the top of the conference.
