With great anticipation from CEU art students and their benefactors, Gallery East opened the Annual Student Show which will run through April 23.
“The Annual Student Show gives students a venue for the work they’ve done throughout year, allowing them to showcase their art,” stated Gallery East Director, Brent Haddock.
“We had 222 pieces that were submitted consisting of three dimensional, computer graphics, paintings, photographs, prints, and drawings.
“Of those 222, the initial four-member jury selected 102 to be in the show.

This season is going by too fast and there is so much to do. We both had a lot to do this week and somehow managed to do it all Monday. Naturally, we had time to spend our afternoon walking around looking for things to put in this column rather than get caught up on anything. Gold.
April Fools a day early
I saw my psychiatrist this week. I did not really have a problem with seeing him, but I was sort of upset that I had to talk to him. The insistence of my family, friends and coworkers is hard to ignore. They called it an “intervention,” which, (I guess), means that I really did not have much of a say in the matter.
