Jason DeShaw brings his show to CEU

Country and Western singer, Jason DeShaw, is bringing his show to the College of Eastern Utah on Tuesday, April 13 at 7 p.m. in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center.
Jason DeShaw is an up-and-coming country singer, born and raised in Plentywood, Montana.
A 2003 graduate of Carroll College, he is pursuing his singing and song-writing career while working at the family business in Plentywood, Montana.
His job keeps him in daily contact with the folks that his musical career is dedicated to: the farmers, ranchers, and just plain hard workers in far eastern Montana.
Blessed with a superb voice, DeShaw began his singing career while attending Carroll, and soon began to play sold-out engagements in the Helena area, including an acclaimed concert at the Myrna Loy Center.
Having received favorable coverage by the Montana media, he has performed across Montana since graduation.
He has produced a 14-song CD of original music, entitled “The Country Way,” which sold by the hundreds upon its release. Asked about his music, he puts it simply, “It’s people and places that inspire me. There are things I cannot leave unsaid or unsung.”
DeShaw is working on a CD with some of his newest compositions, which no doubt will include songs inspired by his favorite, the late, great, Johnny Cash.
It’s all about “Livin,’ Lovin,’ and Leavin'” as Jason blends traditional country with his own new sound.with a back home feeling and a natural stage presence.
His music and personality draw in the crowd for a rollicking good time. Whether country fan or not, you will be amazed by the song and show of DeShaw, writes his publicist.
The show is sponsored by ASCEU and is free to students with activity card and $3 without. The concert is part of CEU’s Wild West Week celebration.
