“No limit has been place on number of submissions and submissions will be accepted until the gallery space is filled,” Trease said. “If there arises a need to limit pieces, the museum [staff] will do so and inform the public of the new criteria.”
After the photography exhibit concludes, submissions must be picked up Jan. 2-4 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. with no exceptions, she added.
Trease says to reference the museum.edu.edu/gallery.htm link for the current exhibition, or for information and criteria concerning other amateur and professional gallery events.
If you are an amateur artist with work other than photography, please note that January through March 2008, the museum is sponsoring an art show and accepting submissions,” she said. Check the museum’s website or call for details at 637-5060.
