Al Jazeera English on UEN-TV

UEN-TV will broadcast Al Jazeera English (AJE) newscasts starting Sept. 1. Two AJE newscasts will be featured each weekday at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. MDT in Utah. UEN-TV will broadcast the programs via MHz Worldview locally on 9.1 and 9.2, and via Comcast digital cable channel 18 Price, 29 Helper.

Al Jazeera English launched internationally in November 2006 as the world’s first English language news channel to be headquartered in the Middle East. After only two years on the air, the channel is available in more than 140 million households worldwide in more than 100 countries.

The broadcast is seen in more than 100 countries and is available in the United States through the independent, non-commercial broadcaster MHz Networks. of which UEN-TV is affiliated. The AJE newscast on MHz Worldview joins news broadcasts from IBA (Israel), euronews, France 24, NHK World TV, RT, SABC News International, as well as Asia News International (India), Deutsche Welle (Germany), and Mac TV (Taiwan), among others. MHz Worldview also features documentaries, foreign policy, serials, comedies, music, sports and more throughout its programming schedule.
