The college’s food service prepares three different homemade soups and fresh-baked bread for each Monday’s dinner. CEU students often provide musical entertainment, and faculty, staff and students volunteer their time to serve each evening. Attendance in 2008 averaged 300 people per night.
Cole Unsworth, a CEU student from Clinton, Utah, and this year’s SUN Center president, notes that “Bread ‘N Soup Night is a cool way for the community and the college to help the hungry in Carbon County. It’s been a very rewarding project which brings everyone together.”
Adults are $5, students $4 and children under 5 years are free.
