Community art show

College of Eastern Utah’s Prehistoric Museum is hosting its annual winter amateur community art show titled “A Bit of Sunshine” featuring work from local artists on the second floor mezzanine gallery.
The exhibit features mostly photography and paintings from area artists. The subject matter of the work is as varied as the artists who submitted it with many of the photos featuring local sites.

The exhibit features mostly photography and paintings from area artists. The subject matter of the work is as varied as the artists who submitted it with many of the photos featuring local sites.
Artists whose work is displayed include Kate Alleman, Cliff Bergera, J. Frank Burdick, Tyson Chappell, Steve Christensen, Levan Hall, Malcolm Howard, Charles J. Johnson, Gotthard Langsstein, Linda Patterson, Ron Patterson, Greg Payne, Jeri Sheya, Kathleen Warren, Terry Willis, Cathy Wilson, Russell Wilson and Kristy Woodhouse.
The exhibit opened Jan. 8 and continues through Feb. 28. Some of the work is for sale and all of it can be viewed during regular museum hours open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission price is charged to see the exhibit.
