The Messiah

A packed auditorium welcomed USU Eastern choirs and Castle Valley Chorale and Orchestra’s annual production of Handel’s “Messiah” Dec. 3 under the direction of Larry Martin.
Almost 100 choir members and orchestra members performed 23 numbers in the season’s holiday tradition.
Soloists included Ammon Sorensen, Jacob Barnett, Russell Seeley, Elizabeth Bryner, Justan Potter, Angela Murray, Mikaleen Mellor, Mersedez Clifford, Arthella Willaims and Kristi Ohlwiler. Orchestra soloists included Adam Anderson, flute; Janet Tuttle, violin; Anneliese Clark, cello; Bob Peterson, trumpet; Jana Hoyt, violin and Sara Sorensen, cello.
The Messiah is the most performed of all oratorios in its 275-year history. It continues to inspire audiences througout the world.
