Utah State University’s annual juried Student Art Show will be displayed from April 15 -26 at Gallery East located in the Central Instructional Building.
The exhibit features work from USU Eastern students and all art forms with awards given to the best of show, first, second, third and honorable mention. “The work in this year’s exhibit really shows the impressive skills our students possess,” Noel Carmack said. “We have exceptional students in all areas: drawing and painting, photography, sculpture and ceramics. Viewers will see the mastery of all the media we teach on this campus. This year’s crop of art students are fabulous.”
A reception and awards ceremony will be on Friday, April 26 from 6-7 p.m. Students, family and the public are welcome to attend. The gallery is free and open to the public during the academic year.
Gallery East’s spring 2019 hours are: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. It is closed Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
