Holiday Spring Fest features displays of local florists, photographers, catering, candles, jewelry, scrapbooking, announcements, bridal and prom gowns, tuxedos, home décor, wedding cakes and décor, hair and nail salons, and much more.
Two fashion shows featuring the latest tuxedos, gowns and prom dresses are presented at 6 p.m. Friday night and 1 p.m. Saturday. The wedding and prom dresses plus formal wear are provided by Loni Giraud of Giraud’s rentals whose business features the latest trends in wedding, prom and special-event fashions.
Downtown businesses, who cater towards special occasions, have booths set up for the annual Spring Fest. Bryner Photography, Oliveto’s, Love Floral are some of the businesses assisting with two-day event. KUSA is providing the music for the show with Party Express decorating the runway. Jana Hopes provided the advertising posters and signage.
“The Spring Fest has grown each year we have sponsored it and seems to get better with each production,” Spring Fest Director and CEU Instructor, Debbie Prichard said. “The booths are simply beautiful and the creativity of the local businesses are on par with any special event show one would see on the Wasatch Front.”
Adults are $4, students $2 with activity card and children are free. Proceeds from the event are used to provide scholarships to the CEU Cosmetology Department.
