Academic Pioneer

This archived article was written by: Lori Brassaw

The CEU Library provides students, faculty, staff and community access to books, magazines, journals and thousands of scholarly and popular articles from Academic Pioneer. In addition, the library also maintains an area specializing in audio/visual items. Library cardholders are welcome to checkout music, movies and audio books. Titles found in the audio/visual area cover academic and scholarly topics as well as popular interest subjects.
The library offers other service as well. For instance, the library has four private study rooms available for check-out and use while at the library. Private study rooms allow several students to work comfortably together in the same space while working on projects. Students may also send or receive a facsimile at the library for a minimal charge of $1.00 per each fax sent or received.
The library owns and maintains two photocopy machines which are available for all library users. All photocopies and computer printouts at the library cost .10 per page. The library also owns and maintains a microfilm/microfiche machine. This machine allows users to search through older newspapers and several other periodicals via a film based format. The library owns microfilm issues of the local papers for the past several decades as well as older issues of the Salt Lake Tribune.
We invite you to visit the library and take advantage of all the resources available to you while you are here at CEU. We look forward to working with you!
