Since her graduation from College of Eastern Utah, it is no surprise that Ahlstrom would be in the spotlight again.
From leading the basketball team, earning a perfect GPA, to graduating valedictorian of her class, she was the poster child for success while a student at CEU. She attended the Price college from 2003-05 and her athlete and intellectual ability netted her all-conference and academic all-American honors.
Ahlstrom and her sisters call themselves the “Fab 5” and perfected their clogging routine for the national audience.
In the first round, The Fab 5 blew the crowd away, from their impressive moves, to their “big white smiles,” says former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff. The quarter-final round led to them performing “live” in the semi-finals.
Ahlstrom was known locally for her dominance on and off the basketball court. While attending the College of Eastern Utah, she averaged 10.8 points per game, 3.7 steals per game and shot an 84 percent average from the foul line and named MVP her sophomore season.
