The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law is hosting a program on Friday, February 25 from 1-5 p.m. titled “Passageways to the Law”.
This is a four-hour interactive informational program on law school life, law school admissions and financial aid. This, their eighth annual Passageways to the Law program, is presented as part of their continuing commitment to inform people of color and first generation college students about opportunities in law school.
Passageways to the Law is being held in conjunction with National Minority Recruitment Month, a national campaign funded by the Law School Admissions Council to raise awareness of recruiting issues facing law schools. They are targeting minority high school juniors, seniors and first- and second-year college students throughout Utah who wish to find out more about law school.
There is no cost to participate in the program, however, space is limited and students must register to participate. Registration can be made by calling the College of Law Office of Admission at 801-581-7479 or 1-800-444-8638 ext 1-7479.
