In narrowing the search for a director of student involvement, leadership and student life, as well as for a director of enrollment, Alex Herzog, associate vice chancellor for student services at Utah State University-Eastern, announced that within the next month, candidates will interview in person on campus.
After thorough review, the pool of 39 applicants for the position of director of student involvement, leadership, and student life was narrowed to seven, of which, six accepted telephone interviews offered to them. Three candidates were invited to come to campus and interview. These three will have the opportunity to interview with the chancellor, vice chancellors, and search committee and present themselves to the campus community in an open forum on March 5, 7 and 9.
The pool of candidates for the director of enrollment position was narrowed from 26 to four for telephone interviews. Two were selected to come to campus and have the opportunity to interview and present themselves in the like manner to the director of student involvement, on February 28 and 29.
In an effort not to affect the employment status of candidates who are currently employed elsewhere, the names of those who have applied and been offered interviews have yet to be released.
Students, staff and faculty are invited to attend the candidate presentations and open forums on Feb. 28 and 29, and March 5, 7, and 9, and give feedback on the candidates by e-mailing [email protected].
