Each Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. on local radio station, KRPX 95.3 – The PEAK, College of Eastern Utah’s faculty and staff have the chance to hit the radio waves and tell the community what’s going on.
“Many of you have taken advantage of this in the past. I hope you are still figuring this into your advertising and marketing plans,” said its coordinator Todd Olsen.

Those who want to promote their programs meet with Shonie Christensen, of “Shonie In the Morning” and discuss what they would like to promote. “I find it easy to just take an outline of talking points you want to cover, share those with Shonie, and she will guide you through an interview,” Olsen added. The interview is recorded and played on the air at 9:30 a.m.
He said that faculty and staff are welcome to do the interview themselves or, if they are radio shy, make him aware of what is going on in their department and he will promote it for them.
“This is a great opportunity that is being given to us at little to no cost, KRPX having been generous in finding sponsors and providing the service,” he continued.
Olsen said, please take a minute to look at your calendars and find a time that would be convenient for you to take advantage of this service and let the community know about all the great things Eastern Utah has to offer.
