Perez brings his eclectic talents to CEU

Changing teaching careers must have seemed attractive to Elias Perez, who after 13 years of teaching high school joined the College of Eastern Utah as its new drafting, machine shop and Spanish instructor.
Perez taught woodworking, or cabinet making, Spanish and drafting at Carbon High School and was the head coach of the track and cross-country team eight years. The father of two sent his eldest son to the LDS Tucson, Arizona Mission only a week ago

ASCEU expands, updates gameroom

There was not much to remember about the game room the past few years except that the pool tables were broken, the video games old and the hours inconsistent.   Pool sticks were being used to hold up the trees.   This was the game room that CEU has known for the last few years.
That was until Spring 2005 when ASCEU took over the facility. ASCEU’s Recreation committee decided to take it over and make it into a place where CEU students would want to hang out. They named it The Nest.

Eagle Cards
For years, CEU’s activity cards have been honored by local businesses, giving college students discounts on goods and services throughout the community. However, finding where to use the card has always been a challenge.
ASCEU leadership has failed in the past to publicize the businesses that offer discounts. This year, student leadership has found a few new sponsors for the program.
That business relationship can be a positive resource for the college. The business that students generate in the community can be positive for the businesses.
